Opened in late 2023, Midnight Threads (夜中) is a small online business based in Brissie (Brisbane), Australia. We believe that diversity is what makes the world a beautiful place. We strive to create streetwear designs that celebrate the unique qualities of Asian arts, cultures, and foods. We believe that these are influential in modern society, and we hope that our designs will inspire a community of all ages to appreciate these rich heritages and celebrate diversity and cultural differences. Our passion for embroidery is rooted in the idea that things that are simple and subtle, can often be the most beautiful.

Growing up as an Asian Australian, I've always been captivated by the rich cultures that intertwine to create a diverse world. This fascination has driven me to embark on a creative journey to celebrate the essence of Asian cultures through the art of embroidery. Each thread tells a story, connecting us to the rich heritages. With every stitch, I strive to honor the traditions that have shaped myself and others and to share the beauty of Asia to the rest of Australia (and the world).
